Not Quite Complete

So much to my displeasure, the order I made last night apparently didn't go through.  All I can say is that I'm so cheesed!  Little did I know, the site was in US dollars and didn't have the common courtesy to do the exchange rates before finalizing the order.  I'm not sure what to say at this point, but since I'm funding myself and the funding is scarce, I will have to continue to sit patiently.  Now all my plans have been pushed.  No worries., it's just a little hiccup.  Change of plans not the goal.

Step One Complete!

Tonight, I did my official first purchase of materials for my clothing line.  Of course my brand isn't officially determined, still trying to figured out everything but it's safe to say that I'm in the right direction.  One step closer to accomplishing my ultimate dream.  It will be hard and it will take a lot of time and patience... of course money.  I'm short on it but I can still get buy. Deqa my partner in fashion crime, was by my side when we made the purchase.  She believes in my dream. And we celebrated with our favourite: Double Double wings & wedges TURN UP! (vaaat? lol)

I know this may seem like nothing to some, maybe even insignificant, but this is so big for me.  This is a really big step for me.  To have the support of a friend is priceless!  Not done with the shopping, I still have more material to buy, more fabrics, beads and notions.  I still have to get a serger.  But I'm making my way slowly but surely.  Step one complete!
